Custom Fly Rods
Custom Fly Rods are our specialty. It's always a pleasure to craft a rod that is being made just for you. Because these rods are one-of-a-kind, I secure definitive information about what kind of rod you actually desire. I will need information such as rod material: bamboo (flamed, tiger-marked or natural) or graphite; reel seat preferences: uplocking, downlocking; reel seat materials: off the shelf or custom made; guides: agate, stainless steel, titanium, etc.; length of rod (where are you going to use the rod--small streams or larger bodies of water?) taper, etc. These are some of the factors that you will need to consider. Cost of the rod will vary depending on the choices you make. The pictures below show some of the components of custom rods I have made. You are not limited to these components.
